I've got a fic az11 with a duron 750, 256 ram, gf2 mx, at the mo' (cheap and cheerful), but I wanna beef it up a bit so am going to get an athlon in there.
The question is, what is the fastest athlon that'll work with this board? The fic site lists a 1.1ghz athlon as the max, but does this mean that a 1.3 or 1.4 cpu won't be recognised, or will just run at 1.1, or do I need a bios update? Or would it just be simpler to get a 1.1 ghz chip and overclock it?
Dur...of course I ain't really got a clue what I'm doin, just messin about cos I've got too much time on my hands.....so any help would be much appreciated.....
