120hz through HDMI

I've been looking at a lot of reviews on the 120hz monitors lately and one thing that I noticed is all of them only do 60hz through the hdmi port. Is there any that I don't know of that supports 120hz over hdmi?

Also, I noticed most of these 3d mointors have some type of "instant-mode" which completely eliminates input lag. Will this feature work through HDMI? I was about to purchase the AW2310 but then somewhere I read that their input lag feature didn't work through HDMI.

If I use a HDMI to DVI cable would that allow me to use the input lag feature?

You will need to wait for monitors that support HDMI 1.4a and a HDMI 1.4a cable.

Not aware of "instant-mode" since I generally do not follow 120Hz monitors.

How about 120hz through VGA? Didn't CRT's do 120hz+ through a vga cable? This one 120hz monitor I'm about to buy has a DVI, HDMI, and VGA port.

Just a bonus question, does using HDMI have more input lag than DVI/VGA? Or is it the same?

120Hz monitors use dual linked DVI for 120Hz mode. VGA will not support 120Hz mode. Also 120Hz monitors and 120Hz HDTV operate differently.

Assuming both DVI and HDMI uses the same quality components, there should be no video quality (or lag) difference between the two.
