Anker Bluetooth Handheld Keyboard

February 7, 2013 6:17:27 PM

I just purchased an Anker mini bluetooth keyboard and I'm having issues that the rest of the web wont solve. So I know that the keyboard works, I've already connected it to my iPhone and iPad with zero problems.

I have a Gigabyte GC-WB300D wifi+bluetooth 4.0 card, that will not recognize it. The mini bluetooth 2.0 dongle that the keyboard came with has the "BT2.0" driver auto install when first connected, but it comes up in the Windows 8 device manager as "driver error". It shows up in my device manager as Cambridge Silicon Radio, but has an error. I updated the driver and its up to date, I tried the repair and it is unsuccessful.

I figured that bluetooth 4.0 would be backwards compatible to 2.0 but I guess not. I cannot find a replacement driver for this mini keyboard anywhere online, and the Anker website only contains a download of the manual (absolutely no help there).

Any suggestions?
