Forum Windows 7 : General Discussion Win7 process for disk rebuild

Word :    Username :

Hello,
I had a drive fail in my RAID 1 mirror set. I got the rebuild process started which was performed in the background by win7 64. Is there a running process that I can watch to monitor when the rebuild is complete?

If you have an intel-based RAID, you can use Intel Matrix Storage Console, which is part of Intel Matrix Storage Manager. It provides a flashing HDD icon in the system tray that you can click on to open, then click on the volume being rebuilt in the left pane and it will show you the progress in the right pane.
