i was trying to email a picture from fb and a window opened saying i had to use microsoft.com emails, so I opened the account now I don't know where to find the email . I opened it under a different address than my yahoo mail.

That's a bit confusing. So, you have a yahoo mail account and tried to attach a photo to a mail. And you did that in your browser? There is no need to open a second mail account with Microsoft. I recommend you just try again with yahoo.
