Couldnt find any monitor threads so I'll just start one. I'm about to upgrade my pc. I will get a 7850 for now but I would like a good monitor that will last me a few years. I'm planning on doing a new build in about a year or so, I'd like to keep the same monitor. Any good monitors brands out there? I'm thinking of a 24inch led.

I have a 40 LED smart TV that. I parked it in the Game room with a Lazy Boy in front of it. The keyboard in my lap and a Rocketfish mouse pad on the armrest. It works perfect for gaming and comfort. :D

Thankx for all your help. I currently have this one and i am not pleased with it. Cheap brand i guess. I saw some samsung monitors on newegg are they any good or should i keep looking at acer and asus? Also 2ms responce time and 120mHz. Are features like these helpful or do they not make any difference?

So, I've looked at all of these. In addtion I've looked at the HP2511x, the Auria EQ276W, and the new Asus VG248QE. Having a hard time choosing between them all. I even thought about 3 monitors, though I think I'd be happier with 1. I'm using my 32" TV as a monitor right now, and would be happy to keep using it, but it's only 720p, and I feel like I owe it to my computer to give it something better to partner with. Anyway, hardest decision of the entire build, and it's becoming quite frustrating.

UPdate: I went with the Auria 1440p S-IPS from microcenter. I'm extremely pleased with it.
