Canon pixma ip5000 print head uk

Hello,
Printer was working normally.
Now when powered up it flashes 5 times between green flashes.
User Manual says print head error.
Any suggested fixes?

Try removing the printhead then re-assemble it. If that makes no difference, fit a new printhead.
