Are there really 1 GHz p4 laptops?

I met this kid with a video editing laptop and he claimed it had a 1 GHz Pentium 4 inside.
I've never heard of such a thing so I figured I'd ask, P4 is basically only good for video editing and I like to edit video so needing a laptop for college I'd like to know where to get one of these if they do exhist.

actually this was at the beginning of the summer I'm just suddenly wanting a laptop and remembering this kid. So it wouldn't be an Athlon 4 and deffinitly not a Tualatin. Probably just a P3 and the kid is a moron
