i dont think the original athlon went that high... only the thunderbird...

if in doubt blame microsoft...

Dude I haven't seen one of those for awhile.... They may be worth something someday though, as they were the first CPU to break the Gigahertz mark.

Yeah...I'd like to replace my original Athlon 550 but only for something that worth it. It's been a while too that I don't saw any :( I think I'll stay with my little 550, it serves me well anyway.

The fastest I have seen is a 900Mhz at Tiger Direct on their web site. They list a 1000Mhz in their paper catalogue.
