i hV A G6-1A30 US HP LAPTOP AND IM TRYING TO IMPORT MY FOOTAGE FM MY SONY HANDY CAM HC52. I WAS TOLD I NEED A FIRE WIRE CARD AND I-LINK VMCIL4415. HOWEVER, I DONT C WHERE THE FIRE WIRE CARD GOES, OR IS IT ALREADY BUILT IN AND I JUST NEED THE I-LINK? PLEASE HELP

Hello BUTTAGOHARDE;

Your HP G6 laptop doesn't seem to have the necessary card slot for a Firewire card. Could be a cost saving choice to leave it out.
Which version of the G6 did you get? Is there an Express card / PCMCIA card / PCCard slot listed in the specs?
