Hi all
Just bought a Gigabyte GA-8ST667 and after formatting my HDD,installing WINXP and then installing the drivers for the mobo i was getting constant but very random screen freezes. Sometimes i could play games for an hour or so without any probs, other times it would freeze every 5 mins. I have since narrowed it down to as soon as i install the SIS 645DX AGP driver from the installation CD that it causes the lockups.

I have since reformmated and installed WINME but this time i did not install that driver and it has been running fine.
My vid card is a GF4 MX440 (crap card yep but itll do me for a while)

My question is has anyone else had this problem and if the puter runs fine without it, why the hell is it on the installation CD??

I have had a look through Gigabytes webpage but no answers there.
