How do i burn a dvd from a flash drive

I am trying to burn a DVD off of three different flash drives its a workout series and i have burned the dvd and it wont play in my dvd player!! So my question is how do you format it from flash drive to beind able to watch it on a sony blue ray player? Any advice would be appreciated and also if it takes software to do this where i can get free burning software to do this thanks

workout shows typically come on dvd disks already. you wouldnt be trying to burn copied shows would you?

in any case, not all players support all file types. some dvd players also do not support data disks so they need to be finalized.
