Did they revert to the previous install tool on the Treo 600? I had a Tungs
E and like the installer interface but when I installed my new Treo 600
desktop I no longer had the nice interface that I had with the Tungs E.
Much more cumbersome to use.

The Treo 600 was originally developed before Handspring and Palm
merged to become PalmOne and so was the Tungsten E. Because of this,
both machines use slightly different versions of the Palm Desktop
software and the most obvious evidence of this is the Treo's more
primitive install tool. You might want to try to reinstall the
Tungsten E's version of the Palm Desktop software but don't be
surprised if you lose the ability to sync your Treo's pictures to your
PC.
