Yes, I posted about it a while back. I think the Stealth II is the absolute worst card that will run it, anything lesser will give you a "won't run" message. But someone could try that card on a slower processor if they would like to try for an even lower score. Just remember that I still have that card and will throw it on P60 if I have to just to beat any challengers. I think I could half that score if I had to, simply be selecting the worst parts that will support the test.
Funning thing, I think I had to increase my memory to 64MB to get it to run. The system ony had 32MB on my first attempt, which game me a "not enough memory" error.
3dmark2001 = 1100
i too said WTF when i first saw it
for some strange reason my framerates are a quarter of what they should be if i use the official leadtek win2k detonator drivers (6.6.6)

p3 550... ati rage fury... 92 3dmark 2001... forgot to kill off a cpu hungry app before running it... dont get much better.. wouldnt run on the 266 so i tested the gcard on one of my better boxes (yes 550 is one of my fastest boxes...) which usually runs a g2gts... which gets a bit of a better score... ive had 0 on 3dmark 2000 as in wont run... oh well
I know that the Socket4 Pentium (aka P5 core, P60, 66) was completely different than the Socket5 (aka P54 core, P75-200). So if it was more powerfull, I could easily set up a P75 system which would definately be slower than a P100, it uses the 50MHz bus with the same core as the P100.
I seriously doubt that a 486 meets MadOnion's requirements for their 3DMark 2000 benchmark, and would likely result in a message telling you so. I believe the requirements are 64MB RAM, 16MB Video RAM, and a Pentium class processor.
Video killed my Radio Card!
AMD K6-2 500
VIA Apollo and VIA MVP3 chipset
32mb PC66 Dimm
32mb EDO Simm
Voodoo 3 2K (before I realised the bastid was over heating)
It didn't run it crashed
Although further 'tweaking' pinned this down to the graphics card, one 486 fan, socket 7 fan and a lump of card board (DON'T EVEN ASK!!!)later it was running.
Best I ever got out of it though was 1024 on 3dmark 2000 (a pc that would score 4000 on 2000 WILL score a lot less on 2001, so if I but this PC on 2001 I'm dreading the score it would give me).
Oddly enough though it performs fine on games...
Your nice new PC might be faster then my 286, but my 286 makes a better door stop :smile:
