More Information

I got a free NEC Powermate 8100 It's specs were:
Celeron 333 on intel JN440BX NLX motherboard with NEC bios
32mb memory pc66 (now 128 pc133)
on board sound & 10/100 lan
4mb ati v.card(soon to order new)
4.3 gig harddrive
I added a cdrom i already had.
total cost so far $0.
using the batch number on the motherboard it does not support coppermine cpu's. Using a Asus slotkey I put tested a Celeron 700 on it. It worked. This Celeron on my other machine OC's to 1050 at stock voltage. So i did the "B21" trick. the slotket only has voltage adjustments. it booted to a screen that said :"this bios only supports CPU's under 600mhz use a non E or EB Pentium 3 CPU." Well i know it worked at 700mhz but not at 1050. So there is a newer bios on the Intel site when I try to flash the non NEC bios it does not work. How can I get the Intel bios on the machine?
