I have a few questions for you.

1.) Where can I buy old Slot A type processors form (England prefable)
2.) This is sort of a mix question about CPUs and Grahpics cards. Well im looking to buyy a Geforce 2 Pro card and I ahve hand people say to me that this is not really worth it as my CPU is only an Athlon 650. But what I though a Graphics card did was remove all the Graphics that the CPU was trying to cope with and free the CPU up basically. Could someone then please tell me if it does matter that you have to have a Good enough CPu to have a good Graphics card like the Geforce 2.
3.) Could you please recommend me a Graphics Card. I ahve a budget of £200.

Your expert help would be greatly appreciated

1) Trust me, you don't want old Slot A type processors. The only ones left AFAIK are the "transitional" Slot A T-birds--and it's usually cheaper to get an equally clocked Socket A T-bird and a new motherboard than to buy a Slot A T-bird.
2) If you play at a reasonable resolution, I believe 650 is enough to get a benefit out of a GF2 Pro. In hardware-accelerated 3D games, your CPU only really holds you up if you play at something like 640x480 all the time.
3) I would think the GF2 Pro is a good choice.

When you say your CPU only really holds up at playing 640x480 does tha mean I should play at higher resolution. That doesnt really amke sense seeing as I play with my TNT2 card at the moment with resolutions of 800x640

Lower resolutions make the graphics card work less, thus limiting your frame rate to the rate at which the cpu can generate work for it. High resolution loads the graphic card up (you still need a powerful cpu though.

I think at this stage, rather than investing in a new Slot CPU you should really think about a new board and cpu.

How about this?

$56 + shipping for your best option of a slot A Athlon 800Mhz with no upgrade potential and no future.

Or

$141 for ECS SiS735 DDR board with 1G Athlon C (266FSB) incl. heatsink
$72 for 256Mb Corsair PC2400 DDR memory
Stick your GeForce2 64Pro ($128) in there and you are rocking.

which = kick ass machine.
