Hi, I've been doing a ton of research on buying a new digital camera, however I'm stuck.

Basically, I'm looking for an SLR-like (similar to an SLR but still considered a point and shoot) camera, around 300-500US dollars. I want to be able to take nice hi-res pics, and hopefully be able to print some decent prints. I was leaning toward the DiMAGE Z2 or Z3, however I hear the quality isn't too great... Any suggestions? I am new to photography, however I still want something that has as many features as possible as I want to start getting into photography more. Thanks alot, Jon.

I'd suggest a look at the Sony DSC-V3. It has fast reaction time, nice size, good pricing and good performance.

Sounds like you're confused what factors to consider when buying a digital camera. <A HREF="http://www.basic-digital-photography.com/buying-a-camera.html" target="_new">This article</A> may help. Check it out.
