Our product, New Yanoff, (http://www.PalmYanoff.com) uses a Java-based
conduit which stopped working with the release of HotSync Manager v6.0.1.
We got ready to port it forward to the latest Conduit Development Kit (CDK)
only to find out that there was no Java support in the 6.0 SDK! This means
that ALL Java-based conduits are broken at least for now for all devices
from T5 on up. This is a fairly disastrous development for many developers.
Here is our updated FAQ entry which refers to the original thread in the
Palm Developer NGs:
http://www.palmyanoff.com/faq.htm#nojava6. I am curious to know how many
other conduits this effects so please chime in if you know of any other
Java-based conduits or if you were using a conduit that would not install
for your T5/Treo 650.
