Printer is hp j5750

printer cartridge error light flashing. Says black ink cartridge needs to be replaced. I have non hp cartridges which are not out of ink. How do I turn off the flashing light and get printer to work?

Try a real HP cartridge. If they get too low the printer needs to be reset, you can put in the real cartridge, then before it gets too low replace it with the 3rd party one.
