DVD-Burner

I´m planning to buy a DVD-burner, but I´ve heard that they only work with XP Pro, not with Home. Is that true, or have microsoft fixed that with sp1?

Never heard of such a thing. I would think the burning software would work with any operating system. Perhaps XP Pro has built-in DVD software and home doesn't? Personally I wouldn't want to use built-in DVD burning software anyway.
