Help!

I just purchased Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 32bit Full Version OEM. My computer currently has Vista Home Pemium, which has issues, including , but not limited to lose of sound. I wanted to remove Vista completly (format disk) however, I can't find a way to do it. Is there a way? Or is it ok to install the version of Windows 7 I have a siccessful download?

you can just install over it, it will put your windows vista in a folder marked windows.old.

or you can do a completely fresh install by booting from the dvd. when it asks what hard drive you want to install to, delete your primary drive and install to the unallocated space.
