I have an HP povilion g6 and im getting into audio, so i need a firewire port but since its a laptop and not a desktop i cant just add a pci express card, so what should i do?

That laptop does not have any expansion options outside of the USB ports, and I don't think there is any USB to firewire converter or break-out box.

But you should not need firewire for just audio, there are plenty of good USB to audio port devices.
