RC with a problem!!!!!

Well, I cut my thumb, pretty good on Sat. morning.... I was using a Dremel with a cut off wheel to cut a transmission line to fix it... The thing bit in the metal & cut around the outside & across the back of my thumb, pretty much to the bone..... Messed up my self pretty bad!!!!

Was in the ER & they found I'd cut through a tendon & the nerves in the thumb... Right now I don't have any feeling on the back of the thumb.... They say the feeling may or may not come back, just have to wait & see....

The tendon..... [gulp] That's a big problem!!! At the ER they called a hand surgeon in to take me into the OR & reattach the tendon.... Well he didn't come in.... So they lose stitched the thing closed & told me to call the surgeon today & gave me an appointment for Thurs.....

So I call the surgeon today & they look up the record... She says I've got to ask the Dr. a question about your injury... I'm thinking, well ok.... She comes back & says, Dr. wants you in now, today!!!!! The sooner the better!!!!! So at 3:30 I'm going in to get the thing opened back up & prodded & looked at..... [shutter] Then if he can't fix it, I'll be going to the OR.....

I don't know about you, but I wish they'd just put me under & fix it!!!!! I don't even like listening to things that they're doing & would not even think of looking at it!!!!!

I've got a bad feeling about this one!!!!!!!!

I'm going to do some serious talking with him before he starts any thing, that's for sure!!!!

I may just have to grab him by the balls & tell him, You don't hurt me & I won't hurt you!!!!!!

I dunno, RC. If I was the doc with the scalpels, saws, etc and some dude went trying to grab my balls, that whole hand just might have to come clean off.

And then charge double to attempt to stitch it back on. Even might have a grudge then not to give any pain meds for after-care!!!

yeah but if you get vicadine or codine.. my doctor says they tell you not to drink and pop more than the dosage.. then problems might happen.. but vicadine and beer.. good mix.. but it does wreak havoc on your liver..

but hey, livers regrow don't they?

The only question that needs to be asked. Can you still pick up, open and chug a can of Coors? If you can, then you can live with the rest!
