Recycled colorfr cartridge not working on HP printer

Hello,
I purchased a recycled color ink cartridge for my HP C5280 All in One printer. It's not printing acceptable color copies. I believe it might be the yellow ink that's not coming through. Is there anything I can do to overcome this problem.
