Well, you can try the common things like

Start->Run->sfc

System File Checker scans for corrupt files, sometimes it can help.

You could re-install without formatting, which will refresh all the files, sometimes works.

You might take everything out of Startup--- Start->Run->MSconfig then go to the startup tab and uncheck everything. If that fixes it, add things back in one at a time until it stops working again.

Other than that, I would just Wipe and re-install.

OK, well, what changed that started the problem? Did it always exist? Did you install something and suddenly it started GPFing?

It's always the one thing you never suspected.
