Does underclocking = stability ?

I am fitting up a computer that I want to be absolutly stable.
Would underclocking the CPU give more stability ??

Not really because system components are designed to be run at cetain speeds and underclocking them is just screwing yourself out of the extra speed.

Yes and no. A system that is unstable can become more stable by underclocking, however you should be able to get a rock solid system WITHOUT underclocking. Buy a stable board and brand name memory along with a good power supply and a UPS and you should be fine....
