I just read the "Intel Beats AMD To 2 GHz".
Come from Toms's Hardware have CPU price of $115 for 1GHz
Athlon?
On Pricewatch the price is aroud $70-$80 - and see that price more then 1 month!?
The 1 GHz Athlon MP cost something like $149.
Tom gets his pricing from AMD's website, which "reflects pricing for direct AMD customers in 1000-unit tray quantities." When resellers buy more processors from AMD, the cost per CPU is lowered. The more these resellers buy from AMD, the more they can afford to resell the CPUs for cheap and still be able to make some profit.
See a real naked pic of Britney Spears <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/stick_e_mouse" target="_new">here</A>!!!
Also some places will sell a cpu for @ or below cost hoping you will buy other things from them at a profit or they charge you crazy amounts for shipping............
