Insert boot disk for aspire one d255e

i have a aspire one d255e , on start up it is asking me for boot disk ?

a little vague. is this a new message, or did you acquire a new pc.

yes it is saying no bootable device ' insert boot disk and press any key ' yes i got it today second hand ' will i have to make up a usb recovery file to load in to reset it ?
