I am considering purchasing the oem version of vista home premium with the windows 7upgrade coupon, Ivista and windows 7 dont format over a operation system anymore, they save the old files in a different partition, I dont want that, I want it just to be upgraded and keep everything the same. However, i love the way everything runs in 64bit(even my beloved freelancer), and want to go that route asap, so should i get vista with the upgrade coupon(109 bucks) or just want until october?

Vista Home Premium 64 bit to W7 Home Premium 64 bit should just upgrade keeping your files, and yes go ahead and buy now, unless you have three computers at home then your going to want the family pack for $149 a big savings.

were do that have a 3 pack of oem vista home premium for 149,? i only need one, but it its that cheap i can upgrade my daughter too.

I don't know of a 3 pack of Vista, but W7 will have the 3 pack (family pack).
With W7 due so soon why not just wait till October and get the family pack, not sure if this available as an upgrade. Must check it out.

Update
It seems that 3 pack upgrade is available for W7.
