Ok, My friend has an HP crapilon 6468. According to him its a:

Celery 433
96mb ram
32x cdrom
8mb ATI rage pro turbo graphics with AGP slot

I think he wants to overclock the celery. Is there any way to?? How would he do it if you can?? Is there any processor that i could put in that would work for sure??

Most pavilions use an ASUS variant mobo. I have seen a few of these and *some* have FSB jumpers. These were all p3s though dunno bout a celery. You could possible up the FSB to 100 mhz if possible, but the processor would prolly not like that but trying wouldn't hurt any thing. There is not way to change the multi though seeign as how its an intel processor. There is some thing about covering certain contacts on slot one processors to unloack the multi I have seen some where, but I dunno if it would work with a celery and is some what complecated to do.

My pin trick won't work with the old style Celeron, because they won't overclock that far. Tell him to get a Celeron 566 and modify it to 850MHz, it's a cheap way to do it.

Ok, Thanks everyon. He has absolutely no $ and can't afford a 566 celery. But it was worth a shot.
