yea its friggin wild, its what the first gen of DDR boards SHOULD have been..

too bad its VIA :o(

Dont get me wrong, VIA can be just as stable as the next chipset, it just takes some tweaking to get there..

Why won't VIA bring this new, fast DDR platform to the P4? They have no concerns over licensing, so it may be (in the near future) an advantage for P4 users as well.

jlb,

VIA IS making a chipset for P4 (P4X2666 I beleive is the name)

It has similar features to the KT266A

VIA is embrouiled in legal PR with Intel over their P4 DDR266 chipset.

Ouch, KT266a beats my sis735, hands down. But, I haven't had any problems at all, and I'm only a few percent slower. Hey, whats a few percent?

Before i have check the score of via i have check the 1 bench with 2.0.Guess what at the start i was equal.

That benchmark suck.strangely he and anadtech dont use P4t who is the fastest board for P4.

nice try.
