I just bought Soldier of Fortune: Platinum Edition, and the res. of 1280x1024 is not an option in the game settings. I really want to run it at this resolution. The closest thing it has is 1280x960. Does anyone know some console command or anything I can do to get it to run at 1280x1024?

Ok, I guess I can do that. I think it's stupid that it doesn't support 1280x1024. I mean that's a pretty common resolution, no? It skips straight from 1280x960 to 1600x1200. I've never heard of people running anything by 1280x960. Granted, I haven't been into this stuff that long, but still. Thanks for the reply.

Actually 1280x960 is the resolution supported by the HL engine too. I found it weird as well, since my LCDs native resolution is 1280x1024, but what can ya do? ;) I have read about people going into the registry or whatnot to add additional supported resolutions for games like Dungeon Siege. Maybe you could look that stuff up and see if it applies to your game as well.
