a MUST HELP situation!

I killed my A7V motherboard and I got a new shiny A7V133 (don't ask why) today, retail, everything was fine, I set it inside the case and stuff like that. I use FOP38 HSF for cooling and when I set it, the back-middle clip tab broke off!!!(I hope you understand what I'm talking about, the BIT, there are 6 bits on Socket A, 3 in front, 3 in back, and the back-middle one broke) It never happened with A7V, I asked for the replacement, but maybe there is a way to fix. I think that bit was cracked, I think there should be clips that use all of those clip tabs, mine uses only 2. Is there anywhere I can get such clip???? Will it work with FOP38's heatsink?? Maybe I can get a new heatsink with suck clip, but I need a GOOD ONE!
There are things I'm not gonna do!
1. I won't try to re-glue the bit, no point, high pressure, will die 5 minutes afeter.
2. I won't GLUE the heatsink to the CPU.

I need help, I'm like shocked....can't breath....
thank..yo.....AH!..ah.......

Holy crap, man, the near eact thing happened to me, so I feel like I'm qualified to help. No, glue (even superglue!)won't get the part back on. What I did is I RMA'd my board (Iwill KK266-R). Iwill took it back and replaced it for free! They're good people. I would try to do the same thing with Asus. If it doesn't work, next time buy Iwill (Did I mention they're good people?).

If you are really mechanically inclined, I think there are ways to mount a heatsink using spring pressure...I saw an article on overclockers.com about this maybe a week ago.

That's the best I got. Good luck with this.

You might want to try one of the coolers that comes with grips for all six tabs.

One good example is the Taisol CGK.

Anandtech wrote a good article about recent coolers listing each that had the six tab gripping mechanism.

I just know that there ARE heatsinks that use all 6 grpis...but don't know their names.... I wrote a letter to ASUS and www.mwave.com (I bought it there)...I'm shocked so have no clue what their policies mean, but seems like I have to pay for shipping and also and that's RAPE! How long will it take ASUS to replace the motherboard? 2-4 weeks?

doesn't seem that they have one like that good for overclocking. I wonder where can I get an AWESOME 6 grip clip with a heatsink, cuz I use FOP38 snf the heatsink is great and the fan is good. I also won't pay more thatn $20 for that! i think I'll get a replacement. BUT will the new one brake too???
