PII L2 cache issues

Hi guys, I need some expertise........

I'm currently running a PII 400Mhz OCKed to 496Mhz-(124Mhz FSB.)

I would like to achieve 133Mhz FSB- 533Mhz clock speed,

I know that my L2 cache doesn't like to run at 533Mhz

so I'm just wondering whether disabling the L2 cache is going to be a worthwhile tradeoff ?

disabling L2 would make your system perform like a 2-300 Mhz machine.. at the very best. Why dont you try it ? dont overclock, just disable it. Turn it on, launch windows, and get a coffee to kill the time

YOu can increase the overclockability of your cache by adding little ramsinks to it. You must remove the plastic housing to do that.
