Hi everyone !!

I want to know if someone could give me an address of a good computer store in New York City Area (Manhattan would be perfect), because I'm looking for cutting edge components but only I've found it on online computer store (bcd2000, spartantech, etc.) and don't send to hotel addresses, and I don't live in USA so I need a traditional computer store, because a computer pilot fly weekly to that city, and he could buy me the computer parts.

TIA.

Pablo

PD: excuse for my english.

I don't know of a computer store like spartantech or newegg in NYC. Basically, there's CompUSA, Datavision, and J&R Computer World. There's a Microcenter on Long Island, but nothing like you mentioned--a cutting-edge online computer parts store.

Yay, I'm a freakin' noob.

When I'm talking about cutting edge technology I mean Pentium 4 - 3 Ghz, Motherboard Asus P4G8X, Memory DDRAM Corsair and a Video Card Asus 9900 based on GeForce FX w/128 Mb (it's not a Cray supercomputer) :)

I know Compusa, Datavision and J&R, but none of these have all the hardware mentioned above.

Thanks anyway for your answer.

Pablo

PD: Sorry but I didn't understood what is a noob (my english is not very good).

try Essential Computers. I buy mostly online from them and when they used to come to the computer fairs in Connecticut. I think they are one of the better companies out there. http://www.essencompu.com/

I won't trust Spartantech anymore they seem to be under new management and thier ratings have dropped considerably.

Newegg is THE best online company to deal with, but if you are looking for a NYC based company Essential should do the job for you. They have respectable ratings.
