Getting Naked.. the THG article ...

I just read this and, well, I found it interresting. Not because of the nudity, no. But it shows up the hypocrisy of all those who get out and shouted out loud that GTA:SA is bad because it has sex.

I did not suspect that there were so many game that could be modded to have charater naked. I knew about SIM2, and hear about Tomb Raider, but, after reading that, this prove to myself something clear.

1- Dont publicy talk about that and it wont spread across the community as fast
2- GTA:SA, if it was a cute game like Sim, wouldnt have all this bad press. But being a rather successful game with some, .. well, funny action make it the ideal victim.

I can find that funny to walk in the game, beat up a guy and steal his car. I won't do that in real life, as I suspect most of you dont. I've never payed Sim2. see, having a game that is about real life is, IMHO, boring. We already are in the game of real life. So, instead of having a little virtual man doing some kind of activities on the screen and finding that fun, I rather go out and do it by myself. Real human are way funnier than you can imagine..

Others, like fantasy and sci-fi game cannot really be as bad as it is not real. We have yet to see real demons and space creature, so killing them should be ok ..

Combat game..well, we have wrestling and boxing at TV, so is is ok.

But for GTA:SA, it reflect too much the real life for some place, and the society can be seen thru this game. And the society dont like that. We all have heard about someone beign killed in the news. Or someone that got beaten up on the streets, and.... . All that is seen in GTA:SA. That shows up where the society is now, and the society dont like that.

Is it the fault of the game if some kid see something in the game and try to do the same. No. It is society's fault. The society try to hide his true nature and want to look good. Hiding the problem generally dont fix it. We are only allowed to show what's good in the society, as the Sim does. Dont show the other side of the medal, because it will put pressure to the society to look at itself and start putting the effort to correct the problem instead of hiding them.

Comdammning GTA:SA just prove that the society is now at this level.. GTA shows it, the society now want to hide it. And the new patch just make this easier by giving it more arguments..

It is probably not beyond him to post that just to get rid of the whole conversation.
