More Information

Does anyone know if a Supermicro SP301-RA (the power supply that comes with a Supermicro SC-760a or SC-750 case) will run an Athlon 1.4 GHz (i.e. is anyone with one of these power supplies running an Athlon 1/4 GHz with it)? I have looked around online, and I can find no documentation on how much current it puts out on each of the rails (with the 3.3V and +5V rails being the most important, of course). If I could find documentation about this, I would compare it to the power supplies recommended by AMD, and therefore be able to figure out if I will need a new power supply when I upgrade to an Athlon 1.4GHz processor.
