I just finished putting together a new comp but when i turn it on the monitor doesnt turn on and says check signal. I have tried using diffrent video cards but same thing. My setup is as follow:

Iwill KA266-R Motherboard
AMD T-Bird 1.4
Elsa Gladiac Geforce2 GTS 32meg
Sound blaster Live! 5.1
256meg DDR PC-2100 Crucial Ram

I have tried removing the SBlive but it still did not work. The monitor does work i am using it right now on a diffrent computer with a Elsa Gladiac 32meg GTS.

Check your monitor cable at both ends to see if you have any bend or broken pins. Also, if your monitor has a reset button try that.

also too if none of the above work, if you got or get a PCI video card and plug it in. see if it works. when i built this system, 2 weeks later my agp slot was bad.

always with one shoe untied and never finding the other.
