Format second HDD

How do I format a added HDD inside Windows XP Pro? Added second HDD to a guys computer. Can see it in Hardware Manager, but it's not formated, so I can't use it. Should format with Windows CD, or what?

It's not a RAID setup. It's a Master / Slave setup.

I'm still learning & having fun doing it!!!!!!

right click my computer and click manage. under storage, click disk management. you can format it from there.

my computer is so fast, it completes an endless loop in less than 4 seconds!

Thank You very much. Worked like a champ. I knew that I had done it in XP before, but forgot where. Haven't put in 2 HDD's in awhile since the HDD's have gotten so large. Fixed an an older machine for a guy.
