...it pours.

In the last 24hours i have had 9 seperate things that make me want to take my computer and shoot it.

Award for most likely cause of suicide goes to...
My mouse.
I have a Logitech cordless desktop LX 700 and i have the strangest things happening. My scroll wheel is acting like i am sliding it left at all times. So any menu or text i click on, the cursor will travel quickly down the text or menu to the end and sit there. Frustrating when i am trying to fill out the menus for tech support for my mouse...lol. I could switch it out, but i am not about to let my mouse win.

I just bought BF2, and installed it and it will not run. I have tryed everything i know. DirectX, gpu drivers, all game patches, and it wont load past the boot screen for single or multi.

My HDD stopped and i got it back but who knows for how long. I need get everything off of it before it dies for good.

winamp decided not to open. It would open and instantly shut down. I had to uninstall, reboot, reinstall and reboot to get it to work.

BitTornado has stopped working all together on my machine and i suspect my uncle messed with it. So i need to figure out what he did. and undo it.

And a couple more smaller issues that i fixed quickly but were annoying to all happen in a row.

Does my computer hate me? why is it doing all this today within 24hours? I planned on playing BF2 for a nice 36hour marathon....but 16hours later i haven't even loaded up to the menu screen and i have more problems then i had to begin with.

Scan for viruses, spyware, adware, malware. Scan your registry. It also sounds like your HDD is failing. Are there any strange noises. Clicks or grinds?

If all elese fails, Format!

I just updated and ran Adaware and Spybot.

I know my HDD is failing, now i have to find a way to get 500GB of data onto a 200GB drive...lol. A lot of burning CD's and a lot of deleting rediculous crap i have saved for no reason
