Which Laptop

Hello,
I've been looking for a laptop somewhere in the region of £500 for my sister for gaming, browsing etc. She wants something which will last her a good few years and can play her games at reasonable settings.

I've come up with 4 comparable Dells and was hoping ya'll could push me in the direction of the "right" one. I've a £70 off voucher so the prices all come down close to her budget.

The choice seems to have come down to the XPS 15 and the Inspiron 15R

Does the better CPU on the XPS outweigh the price hike from the Inspiron and the better graphics card offered by it?

If gaming is a concern, then you want the better performing video card. Plus, at 2.53ghz the i3-380M will not be a bad performer.

I hear the XPS is built better than the inspiron though. I'm finding this decision quite hard, does anybody else have any input?

It comes down to the chassis. The Inspiron is mostly plastic with a brushed metal feel around the keyboard and touch pad. The XPS is made from a Magnesium alloy so it will be a little sturdier.
