What would happen if u put a p3 tualatin in a p3 coppermine motherboard......... Ive read "its not recomendable".......... What do u think????? Could it handle it??????

If you read Tom's article, he makes it clear exactly why it doesn't work. The voltage is different, and a few pins have been reassigned so that it will not work in the wrong motherboards. The BIOS is also wrong, as mentioned.

Just out of curiosity... Will Coppermine P3's work in boards designed for Tualatin? Are the boards backwards compatible and made to recognize which processsor is being used?
