Toshiba R835-P56X laptop - dual external VGA monitors

Is there a way for me to run dual external VGA monitors with the Toshiba R835-P56X? The R835-P56X has one VGA port and one HDMI port. I'm not opposed to buying adapters or something else that may work, assuming the price is reasonable. Ideally I would like to plug into the monitors and an external mouse and keyboard and close my laptop so that I am only using the 2 external monitors.
