When I connect to my cable modem, I have no problems
connecting to the Internet. As soon as I connect to my
MN700 wireless router via the same ethernet cable though,
whether or not it is plugged into the modem too, I cannot
access the base station. My computer says it is acquiring
a network address, and then I get a message saying that
my LAN connection has limited or no connectivity. I
cannot access the base station via the Microsoft
Broadband Utility or by accessing the controls through my
web browser by bringing up the router by IP address. I
did not have this problem before, and have used this base
station in several set-ups before, one with Comcast like
I have now, and one with DSL in my parents home. I have
tried endlessly to find a solution, and I am coming up
with no answers. I have installed XP Service Pack 2, and
while it may be a long shot, I thought that was perhaps
causing the issue, as I had no problems that I can
remember prior to its installation. Any ideas?
