Office 7 on windows 7?

i purchased the office 7 when my laptop runs on XP, now i purchased a laptop where windows 7 is running. I ried to install the office 7 on the windows 7 it did not work can you tell me of it is possible to install the office 7 that i have purchased on windows 7?

The installation should have worked though the activation would not since it sounds like you are trying to use a license for 1 computer installed on 2 different machines. If you bought the Student version that allows 3 installs with 3 different keys. If it is an activation issue you need to use a key that has not been previously used.
