Internet problem Please help!

Hi i have had my laptop for around a year now and never had any problems with conecting to the wifi but ever since i system restored i cannot connect unless im close to the router. My xbox, ipod, computer can connect just not my laptop.
Any ideas how i can fix this problem??

The problem is unclear.

you can try to update your wifi-card drivers by going to the manufacturer's website and downloading the ones for your corresponding model.

other than that I can't think of what would cause this
