After thinking about it for some time ,I have decided to replace my 20 GB WD hard drive with a brand new 40 GB 7200 HD.
I have a lot of important info on it, so I was wondering what is the safest method to do that.
1. Using Norton Ghost
2. Using Win XP Pro "Automated System Recovery Wizard"
3. or just backing up the whole hard drive with Win XP built in back up program or a third party software?

Any Ideas/opinions would be appreciated

Just as I am :)

Umm, If you Ghost the 20 to the 40, won't the new HDD act like a 20gb instead of a 40gb? Just asking. I don't really know for sure, as I've never done it.
Another option would be to do a fresh install on the 40gb, set up your 20 as slave, and manually transfer your files. That would prolly be how I did it.
Nothing against ghost or anything, I use ghost and love it.

Wich reminds me...

No, it wont act like 20gb. Use Ghost for this operation, it will be the best solution. I've used Ghost for cloning our desktops at work thousands of times (yes its true).
