I want to remove windows 7 and install xp

Hello,
I just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I want to remove 7 and install XP. how can I do this?

Put in XP disc...format and install etc...

Why would u want to do this? Win 7 is rock solid.

At any rate, you'd have to buy an xp disk (look around - newegg no longer sells it) or attempt to reuse an old one. I'd check the laptop makers website to see if the provide xp drivers - if not could keep laptop from functioning properly.

Run it inside a virtual box like I do. You don't have to worry about driver incompatibility and if it pisses you off, you simply delete the installation versus loosing everything.
