I currently have an Abit KT7-RAID motherboard.. with an FSB of 100(200) and I am thinking about upgrading processors..
I was wondering if I could get away with buying a 1400 AthalonC with a 133(266) mhz fsb.. will this processor handle a 1.4 X 100 multiplier? or because it was made for a Higher FSB 133(266) will it not handle 1.4 x 100 ???? thanks in advance for your help... the only reason that I wanted an Athalon C is so that I can just plug it into a better motherboard later on.

You may be able to run an athlon c at 14 x 100 with a bios upgrade. I would contact technical support at abit and see if a bios upgrade will give you the 14 multiplier setting you will need.
