Hello!
I hope you're happy and wealth and at good health!
I have a problem: I want to know can I put Celerons with >600Mhz on a Abit BP6 (Dual) Mainboard?

Yours sincerely

NO. They are not SMP compatable. And the modifications Abit made to the bus so that previous Celerons would work in a dual configuration eliminates the possibility of dual PIII's, unless you make further modifications (hard wire a few pins).

Back to you Tom...

Thanx for your answer!!! But can you say me how i can change this @#!'-old board? What's about this hard-wiring-a-few-pins-on-mainboard?
Further thanx...

Fist you'll need two Powerleap Neo S370 adapters. Here's a link for the mod

and a link from a guy who tried it

A further Thanx to you Crashman. I have much of the information I need. But nobone of these cracks could say: Will newer Pentium III (Tualatin core) work too? Or think about these 133 Mhz Pentium III (Coppermine), will they work in my board? I hope you have an answer...

Nobody makes the proper converter for FC-PGA to FC-PGA2. But Powerleap is talking about a Slot 1 converter. No good for you!

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
